The touchtennis US Open Men's Singles

This is a 2000 slam level event with the most prize money and ranking points ever offered in the USA!

Below is a general description of all events

Note: the court will use the new 13' (4m) service line.  The service box will be longer! This was tested and approved at the recent World Team Cup.

Events:

Men’s Singles and Doubles

Women’s Singles and Doubles

Double elimination on every event.  Participants are guaranteed at least 2 matches in each event entered.

ALL singles matches will be best of 5 sets.  That includes women!

All doubles matches will be best of 3 sets.

All consolation matches will be best of 3 sets.

Entry Fees

Singles entry fee is $50.

All doubles entry fees are $20 per person.

Prize Money:

Total prize money purse:  Minimum $20,000 (US Dollars) as of September 5, 2024. 

Note: prize money will likely increase because we are growing sponsorship as more companies are excited to be part of this inaugural event.  We will pass on that sponsorship to the players! Our goal is to offer more prize money in the earlier rounds. Check back often because prize money is likely to increase! 

Schedule of play

Play is scheduled to begin Thursday, November 14.  This assumes the draws fill up with 64 players in both the women’s and men’s events.  If fewer players sign up, play may begin on Friday, November 15.  In any case, the semis and finals will be Sunday, November 17.  If there is a travel schedule conflict, we will make best efforts to accommodate late arrivals.  Please note if you can’t be here ready to play on November 14, be prepared to play multiple matches on November 15 in order to catch up.

Student Discount

The beautiful Blue Water Convention Center  located on the shores of Lake Huron.  This will be an indoor tournament played in the Grand Ballroom of the Lake Huron Hall.
