The World Team Championships - Valladolid España

The Third World Team Championships! 

England are the defending champions and look like the team to beat! 

Right after the Spanish Slam we have the two round-robin groups first! Four teams will be seeded. Two in each group. 

The seeding will be done by the collective ranking of the country's players that make up the team.

Format of play is round-robin in the group stages with each team playing six matches per tie in the following sequence based on the ranking of the players in their team. If a player is unranked, then they play that position for the entire event. 

If both teams reach three match wins each, then a tie-break is played of 5 points. Each player from each team plays one point at a time for their country with a deciding point at 4-4!  

Saturday will be the round robin matches followed by Semi Finals with the Finals and play-offs on Sunday. 

Each of the eight teams will have accommodation, breakfast and lunch paid for with a total prize fund of €8000 with the winning team scooping an unprecedented €1000 per player! 

Accommodation will be provided on the basis of two twin-rooms per team at the NH Ciudad Valladolid. 

You must pay a £100 refundable deposit to enter which is returned to you once you have completed play.
