Max made a memorably loud and aggressive debut in 2014 at the Belgium Open, where he was narrowly shafted 9-7 in the 5th set of an epic serve and volley battle. A player far too unskilled and unfit to make any real head way in the long version of the game, touchtennis is a great way for Max to hang on to any feelings of being an athlete. However, rumour has it that Max is indeed the best athlete on the touchtennis tour. 2016 marked a breakthrough season for Max as this was the first year he competed as a sponsored player, something he had been trying to achieve since 2014. He landed a dual sponsorship through Justice Sports who provided him with Bones Original apparel and HEAD rackets. Max is currently sponsored by Babolat inclusive of the official touchtennis racket (being modelled so elegantly on his profile picture) engineered specifically for the sport. Max is also sponsored by Fitbit and currently wears the Blaze smart watch. The 'Athlete' has also had the fortune to work with a multitude of different companies via touchtennis such as; Biosteel, Coco Pro, 2UNDR and Prowater. Max's game style is difficult to explain, this could be because usually he doesn't seem to have one! The closest anyone has to come to describing it was a seasoned ATTP pro, who commented, 'over and in with flashes of random aggressiveness but ALWAYS athletic'. To date, Max's most memorable touchtennis results have come through making the doubles final in the Babolat Masters 500 Event in La Manga with ATTP veteran Jamie 'Grindian Jones' Sacchi, in both 2014, where he gagged championship point against the G.O.A.T himself and in 2016 also, where they lost to the 'Jedi' (Alex Bull) and the 'Ghost' (Adam Hassan), the number one seeds. In his spare time, Max likes to work on his Herculean physique by spending hours upon hours staring intensely at his own body in any reflective surface he can find, quoting the entire dialogue from the 1977 classic, Pumping Iron.
