    Ashley Neaves AKA The Muskateer The Spaniel Starting his touchtennis career in Southampton in March 2015, Ashley took on the GOAT in the quarter-finals of the £200 event. After a lot of talk, the GOAT decided to let the new player/bunny take the win... The birth of touchtennis in Portsmouth was upon us! Ashley became an addict of the sport and spread the bug among his friends, family and colleagues in Portsmouth. Some big names have now come from the city... Macca Neaves, Benjamin Mason, Harry Harris, Scott Yule, Tasha Bibby, Donna Sheppard, James Morgan, Ed Percival, Jodie Adams, Clint Judden and many more, but probably the most influencial figure to come out of Portsmouth since Charles Dickens... John Taylor!! Anyway, Ashley has had a good career thus far, climbing up to a a high of #6 in the world in August 2017 and has maintained a top 20 spot ever since. Neaves aims to play in the end of season Masters in 2018 and longer term aims to reach the top 5, with his ever improving fitness (thanks to Fitbit) and his beautifully elegant backhand slice (thanks to his Babolat racket), this now becoming a realistic aim.
